2015: The declaration which was adopted in December 2015,

Prince Mahidol Award 2015 conferred in Bangkok: It
was conferred upon Professor Morton Mower and Sir Michael Marmot for
outstanding achievements in medicine and public health worldwide respectively.
Mower, a citizen of USA, received the award in the category of medicine for
invention of the Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator.
