Sikkim becomes the first state to launch open government data portal: It
has become the first state in the country to have an open government data
portal linked ‘sikkim.data.gov.in’. The open government data portal facilitates
free use; reuse and redistribution of data produced or commissioned by the

India ranked 141 out of 163 countries on 2016 Global Peace Index: Iceland

Iceland scientists turn carbon dioxide into stone under Carbfix project: Scientists
of Iceland found a technique to capture and store the greenhouse gas carbon
dioxide in deep underground by turning it into rock. This technique will
